The Parks Department is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and overall planning and design of the parks system throughout the City. The parks system has experienced many positive advancements with recent SPLOST votes. 

Currently, no full park rentals are being allowed by the City, as we have a passive parks system that is open to all visitors. Special Event Permits may be allowed depending on the type of event and size of activity, so as to not disrupt other passive activities at any park. Pavilions at parks are first come first serve, with no activity being acceptable outside of City sponsored events at Childers Park and the Town Green. Parks are open from dawn to dusk ONLY.
