Arbor Day Celebration

2020 Monroe Arbor Day Celebration

Join us on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Pilot Park, 501 E Church Street, Monroe for the Monroe Tree Board's annual Arbor Day Celebration.  Acitivities will include the Monroe Arbor Day Proclamation, Tree CityMonroe Arbor Day Proclamation, Tree City USA Presentation, and a display of the City’s Tree Planting Plans. Katherine Kennedy from the Concrete Jungle will be discussing Fruit Trees and Urban Foraging. We will conduct a fruit tree planting in the community garden and give away free tree seedlings.
